Whales Coast

This artwork is an introduction to my new universe concept. I'm going to split this thread into different medias like novels, photography and of course 3d graphic. Story plot is placed in northern island where distinct places are connected by train path. I wouldn't be myself if there weren't vampires though. So in this world exist mythical creatures, swan- dolphin hybrid which like a swallow drops off his children to another host. One of the plot reveal a story about a girl who was drop off at the whale. She was growing just on his belly skin and sucked his blood. As she was born the whale recognized her as his daughter. They went through different stories but one day fishermen killed him just by looking for fun. The girl fell in great pain and massacred all of them, sucked their blood in a squalid bar when celebrating. it's a start of her story in a cruel world.
When I connected all my recent fascinations, inspirations and events story came up naturally. Main factors are:
- interest in northern Islandic vibe which came last year with Death Stranding game, struggling with winter and listening to post metal and screamo music
- vampires girls always on top
- a sea coast trip during last winter
- Japan ( this brutal and dirty side) aesthetic and artists like Takato Yamamoto or Toshio Saeki
- and other smaller factors like train travelling or tramway station I used to go to

This artwork is an introduction and place where the whale has been thrown ashore.
